What is a nebula?

The nebulae are huge clouds of gas and dust that extend through galaxies. Some lightly glow, reflecting rays of sight, and they can be seen in the telescope. Others are similar to the dark glances closing the stars behind them. Therefore, they are called dark. It is there that dawns are born. Some nebulae produce their own light when the gas from which they form is heated from the surrounding eyes.
