What is a hydraulic drive?

Water, like any liquid, has a constant volume, so it can not be squeezed. If the pump cylinder is filled with liquid and the piston moves, then the liquid can transfer pressure to the working hydraulic cylinder piston. This principle is used in various machines for the smooth movement of parts. The term "hydraulic drive" means the presence of water, but now in most hydrosystems, mineral oils are used to prevent corrosion.
