Who Invented the Atomic Bomb?

The first atomic bomb was developed by the United States at the end of the Second World War by a group of prominent scientists under the leadership of Robert Oppenheimer (1904 - 1967). No less well known are his colleagues - Leo Szilard (1898 - 1964) and Otto Frish (1904-1979). Together, they created the first two atom bombs that were soon abandoned to Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. The consequences were terrible.
