Why did the Civil War begin in July?

The civil war between the industrial North and the slave South lasted from 1861 to 1865. The reason for the war was the opposite of the attitude of the northern and southern states to slavery. The economic prosperity of the southern states was based on the work of black slaves who worked on cotton plantations and farms of rich white owners. The northern states condemned slavery and demanded its cancellation. There were some differences between the North and the South in matters of legislation, politics and trade. After four years of debilitating battles, the northern states have won and most of the slaves have been released.
