Who made the first round trip?

The first round-the-world trip was made by the Portuguese sailor Fernand Magellan on the Victoria ship . In 1519, he went to the west of Europe. Most of his team died from hunger and disease . Magellan himself was killed during the insurgency in the Philippines. Only a few sailors, under the direction of Captain Sebastian Elkano, managed to carry out a journey planned by Magellan and to return to Europe in 1522 with a triumph.
