Who built the most beautiful mausoleum for his wife?

Sultan Shah Jahan (ruled 1627-1658 biennium) When his beloved wife, Mumtaz-Mahal, died at the birth of their fourteen child, Shah-Jahan was killed by grief, and built a magnificent Mausoleum of the Taj Mahal in memory of her. The palace is made of pure white marble, decorated with gold and mosaics made of semi-precious stones.
