How did modern people come from?

Our distant ancestors belonged to a group of animals called primates. Primates appeared on Earth about 50 million years ago, and apparently were not like a man. During the evolution they became larger, acquired new skills, learned to adapt to changing living conditions. So gradually arose human-like primates - Australopithecuses. Homo habilis - "a skilled man" has already mastered the manufacture of primitive tools of labor. Instead, she came to a man of the modern type (Homo sapiens sapiens - "man twice reasonable").
